Hi, I'm Sam
I grew up here in Stratford. Before any of this I spent 15+ years in industrial automation, programming PLCs and robotic welding. I bought my first CNC at the start of 2021, and the automation background meant I picked it up pretty quickly. It started as something to do on weekends and turned into Coleman Designs.
I still check every piece myself before it goes out. If it's not right, I make it again.
My dad, David
This is my dad, David Coleman. When I was a teenager I spent a lot of time helping out in his woodworking shop. About twenty years later I bought a CNC and ended up right back in wood. These days the shop has a 4'x4' Onefinity CNC, a CO2 laser, a fiber laser and a 3D printer.
